B

rett Slavicek was born in suburban Chicago. He studied philosophy at Rhodes College, graduating with honors in 1995. He was then accepted into many of the Country’s top law schools, ultimately enrolling in Northwestern University School of LawNorthwestern University School of Law is consistently regarded as one of the nation's top law schools by Us News & World Report.. There, he focused his studies on trial practice and negotiation, earning the highest grade in his class for negotiation.

After graduating from law school in 1998, Brett began working at Treon, Strick, Lucia & Aguirre. He was immediately indoctrinated into the mechanics of handling severe injury claims, working under such Arizona stalwarts as Dick Treon and Jerry Strick (both of whom had record-setting verdicts of their own).  After less than two years with the firm, the firm asked Brett to be a partner. Brett ultimately chose to form his own firm, the Slavicek Law Firm. Over the years, Brett continues his mission of providing personal and dedicated service to a limited number of clients and is very selective in his practice, focusing exclusively on high-value, complex injury claims.

Brett has tried injury and death cases to juries in Arizona and Nevada. He has obtained $54 million in jury verdicts, including Arizona’s largest verdict in 2012 and again in 2015. He has obtained approximately $450 million in total verdicts and settlements for his clients, including more than 125 million and multi-million dollar resolutions. He has also resolved six cases with jury verdicts or settlements in excess of $10 million each. Few, if any, Arizona lawyers have personally achieved such results over the past 10 years.
